Day 1

Flying to Sri Lanka and being warmly welcomed by your chauffeur/guide and drive to hotel, stay one night relaxing in Negombo Sri Lanka.


Day 2

After breakfast you will be travelling to Sigiriya Rock, one of the most valuable historical monuments of Sri Lanka. his ancient palace and fortress complex has momentous archaeological importance and attracts thousands of tourists every year. It is probably the most visited tourist destination of Sri Lanka. You will spend the day here and stay overnight.


Day 3

Today offers the opportunity to visit Polonnaruwa medieval historic city, one such site both a working town and ancient city. It is a must-see in Sri Lanka. Once the capital of Sri Lanka, it still retains much of its ancient buildings including the royal palace and statues of Buddha. You will enjoy the day here and stay at the same hotel.


Day 4

After breakfast you will be heading towards Kandy, which is a large city in central Sri Lanka. It’s set on a highland surrounded by mountains, which are home to tea plantations and bio diverse rainforests. The city’s heart is the scenic Kandy Lake, popular for leisure walks. It’s famed for its sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa) shrine, and for its native dances which you will be able to witness, at the Kandyan Cultural show in the evening. You will stay the night in this sacred city.


Day 5, 6

After breakfast you will be visiting the Botanical Garden, Ceylon Tea museum and famous arts and crafts in Kandy . In the afternoon you will be heading towards Nuwara Eliya (City of Lights) which is a resort city in the Central Mountain Range of Sri Lanka. Blessed with a cool climate, breath taking views of valleys, meadows and mountains. You will stay two nights in this beautiful location and explore the green Tea plantation, Gregory Lake, Victoria park, during your visit to the Tea Factory you will enjoy a refreshing cup of Ceylon Tea.


Day 7

After breakfast you will be travelling to Ella, only a small village located high in the mountains. It has magnificent waterfalls, high mountains perfect for trekking and breath taking views. Here you can visit, Ravana Waterfalls, Ravana Cave, Ella Rock, Nine Arch Bridge and Little Adam’s Peak It is advisable to take a train from Nuwara Eliya to Ella to see some truly spectacular views this journey ranks among the best train journeys in the world – it is a must!!!


Day 8

Today you will be travelling to exciting Yala National Park, the most visited and second largest national park  in Sri Lanka Home to 44 species of mammals such as Leopards, Elephants, Sloth Bear and many more and 215 rare bird species such as Asian Open-bill, Painted Stork, Black necked Stork, Lesser Adjutant and the Great White Pelican. You can enjoy a Jeep safari to spot some magnificent wild life. Stay over night.


Day 9, 10

After breakfast you will be travelling to Mirissa, it is a superb sandy beach that pretty much transforms your dreams and visions into a reality.  Located close to the Southern tip of the Island of Sri Lanka this secluded crescent shaped beach is the perfect place to sit back, relax or participate in the popular water sports. This small sandy tropical beach allows you to see some of Sri Lanka’s best and most stunning sunsets and sunrises. The famous features here are the Turtle Farm, whale watching and boat tours to see the coral reef. Stay two nights here as there are lots of places to discover.


Day 11

Today you will be heading to Colombo the Capital of Sri Lanka. On the way you have the opportunity to have a cup of Ceylon Tea in the British colonial mansion – The Mount Lavinia hotel this being during the War a British army hospitable and later a film location in the film “Bridge over the River Kwai”. If you prefer some shopping you can go to ODEL, Barefoot or Laksala where you can purchase international brands or hand crafted goods from Sri Lanka. Then after you will be heading towards the Galle Face hotel another magnificent Colonial hotel (that has a museum dedicated to HRH Prince Philip and contains one of his early vehicles) you will be able to relax for the evening by the Indian Ocean enjoying the Sunset. You will stay in Colombo over night.


Day 12

Today is the end of the tour after breakfast your chauffeur/guide will return you to the airport or Negombo where your tour started.
