Found on the south east coast of Sri Lanka. Arugam Bay is a very popular destination amongst surfers. Enthusiasts of this sport travel from all over the world to come here to surf the waves and participate in some fantastic competitions. Arugam Bay is described as having the best waves in Sri Lanka but if you don’t want to brave the ride, the beaches too are unspoilt with stunning surroundings and of cause plenty of sunshine and smiling faces ready to ensure you make the most of this destination. If you are in this region can also visit the Kumana National Park (Yala East). Okanda and Lahugala Kithulana National Parks are added highlights. There are also several interesting cultural sites to visit including the caves and magical ruins.
